Victorian High Country highlights — Tracks N Trips stage
We’re also proud to be hosting a presentation every day of the show at the Tracks N Trips stage in Victoria Pavilion (Hall 3, Foyer).
Justin Gill, Hema Maps National Product Manager and outdoor enthusiast, will hit the stage at 10.30am each day to share the ins and outs of our recent expedition to the Victorian High Country.
Over three massive months our Hema Map Patrol teams and a selection of Hema Alpha Teams went on an epic trip through the iconic Vic High Country (even venturing up into the Snowy Mountains, NSW), remapping approximately 20,000km of backroads and tracks to capture the latest and most accurate data.
The Map Patrol team is collecting truck data
Expeditions of this scale are no small feat, and Justin will share some great behind the scenes insights on just how much work goes into producing the highly detailed maps you see in our range of products.
